The Vancouver Canucks will host Western Conference rivals Minnesota at Rogers Arena tonight, and the home team should be full of confidence after defeating the big bad Boston Bruins on Friday. They went on to lose the following night in Calgary, but back home and well rested we should see the Canucks at their best tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Canucks have won their last two home games in convincing fashion, outscoring the Penguins and the Bruins 10-2 in consecutive blowout victories. The Wild own a losing record away from home (12-13-1) and they've lost 11 of their last 14 trips to Vancouver.

2. Special Teams - The Wild own one of the NHL's worst power play units, converting on just 15.9% of their opportunities.

3. X-Factor - These teams meet for the third time in two weeks, and the Canucks have lost both the previous meetings. They have a far more favorable situation here tonight, and will have revenge in mind.
