The Blackhawks and the Penguins are perhaps best known for their offensive prowess, but both teams are ranked near the top of the league on defense as well. Chicago will host Pittsburgh on Sunday, and I think we should see a tightly contested game with both teams playing at a high level. With the total on the high side, I'll take the under.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Special Teams - The Chicago Blackhawks boast the NHL's #1 penalty killing unit, allowing opponents to convert just 12.2 % of their opportunities. The Pens aren't far behind, ranking third with an 85.6% kill rate.

2. Goaltending - Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has won four of his last five starts, allowing just a pair of goals in those four wins, two of which were shutouts. Chicago's #1 netminder Corey Crawford is 3-1 with a 1.93 GAA in four career starts versus the Pens.

3. X-Factor - Five of the last six meetings between these two teams have gone under the total, and Pittsburgh has been trending under all year at a rate of roughly 60%.
