The Washington State Cougars will host the Arizona State Sun Devils in a late night battle in the PAC-12 tonight. The Cougars are a home dog despite their recent success versus conference foes at home. Arizona State might be due to suffer a let down coming off a massive upset win over rivals Arizona on Saturday. My money is on the home team getting points.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Visitors come in laying points, but they've lost four of five on the road during conference play. The Cougars have won six of their nine home games, with wins coming against Oregon and Stanford, both of whom rank above the Sun Devils in the PAC-12 standings.

2. Previous History - The Cougars have won three of their last five home games versus Arizona State outright, and one of those two losses came by a margin of fewer points than the number in tonight's game.

3. X-Factor - Backing Arizona State as a road favorite seems a dubious proposition at best, especially considering that they've failed to cover the spread in 11 of their last 15 road games.
