The New York Rangers will host the Dallas Stars at MSG in a non-conference game. The Rangers are coming off a 3-2 loss at Nashville last night. Dallas is coming off back-to-back losses thanks to a 3-2 loss at Buffalo last night. This will be the second and final meetings between these two teams this season. The Stars took a 3-2 game in Texas back in late December. The Rangers may have played last night but they are a good team and coach Alain Vigneault will have them ready for an immediate bounce back at home to get the win.

Here are my keys to the game:

Rangers' revenge- The Rangers are 12-9 when revenging a road loss to an opponent this season. New York has been good at home with a 17-7-3 at MSG this season.

Dallas trending in the wrong direction- Dallas lost two in a row to end an important home stand. It gave up eight goals over that period. Not a great sign for the Stars who have given up 170 goals on the year which is fourth most in the NHL.

X-Factor-Rick Nash has 18 goals and 27 points in 27 home games this season.
