I don't expect them to score many runs tonight either, coming up against Red Sox right-hander Garrett Whitlock (1-1, 0.54 ERA) who has conceded a total of only one earned run while recording 20 strikeouts over 16 2/3 innings this season.

The Angels turn to left-hander Reid Detmers (1-1, 5.19 ERA) to get a start instead of Shohei Ohtani. Detmers has given up only three runs on five hits with eight strikeouts over his last two starts.

The Red Sox are averaging only 3.60 runs per nine innings on the season.
