The St. Louis Cardinals have scored only two runs through the first two games of this series, and today they'll run into Mets' right-hander Carlos Carrasco (1-0, 1.47 ERA) who has a 2.84 ERA in his two career starts against St. Louis.

The Cardinals hand the ball to Steven Matz (2-1, 5.27 ERA) who spent six years with the Mets before getting acquired by the Blue Jays last season. There's some bad blood between Matz and the Mets after some off-season drama, and I expect a big outing from Matz who has allowed only one run over 10 2/3 innings in his last two starts.
