The Chicago Bulls have played five straight overs, but all but one closed with a total of 209 points or lower. The Bulls are tied with Memphis for the worst scoring average in the NBA this season and I think the total for this matchup with the LA Lakers look a bit high.

The Lakers have struggled through a 3-7 stretch since losing LeBron James to a groin injury, particularly on the offensive end; they're coming off back-to-back 95-point performances and under is 6-1 through their last seven games.

Under is 10-1 in Lakers last 11 vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Under is 9-3 in Bulls last 12 vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

This will be the fifth meeting of the season. Each of the last three have gone under the total.
