The Calgary Flames are the hottest team in the NHL with eight wins in their last nine games and off a 7-2 triumph at St. Louis on Sunday.

Here they'll visit the Dallas Stars who are heading in the complete opposite direction with 19 goals allowed through four straight losses.

We can also note that the Flames will be seeking to avenge an overtime home loss to the Stars on Nov. 28 in the first of three meetings this season.

Dallas has had an extra day of rest compared to its opponent, but Flames are 12-1 in their last 13 games playing on one days rest while Stars are 1-6 in their last seven games playing on two days rest.
