The San Francisco Giants' Jeff Samardzija (1-1, 5.27 ERA) has posted a bloated 15.43 ERA in four career appearances (one start) at Citizens Bank Park and an 8.18 ERA against the Phillies in 11 career meetings. I do however think he will get enough run support for a Giants win tonight with the Phillies sending Zach Eflin (0-0, 1.50 ERA) to the mound. The 24-year-old right-hander was called up when Ben Lively hit the disabled list with a lower back strain and will make just his second start of the season.

Eflin is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA and 1.438 WHIP in three career starts against the Giants who enter this contest on a four-game winning streak during which they've piled up a total of 33 runs. Phillies are 1-9 in Eflin's last 10 starts and 2-6 in their last eight overall.
