The Nashville Predators are 8-2 here in the postseason, and they have a rest advantage compared to the 8-3 Ducks who were taken to seven games by Edmonton in their conference semifinals series. Pekka Rinne has been immense in the crease for the Preds, and I think the visitors have a huge goalie advantage here as Anaheim's John Gibson has posted some pretty weak numbers in the postseason.
What about home ice advantage? Note that the away team won five of seven games in the playoffs last season, a series the Preds won 4-3. I like Nashville to take command in the best-of-seven Western Conference finals with a victory in the Duck Pond Friday night.
