I'm gonna have to go with the New York Mets here in their National League wild-card showdown with the San Francisco Giants. Noah Syndergaard (14-9, 2.60 ERA) owns the Giants and has held their current roster to nine hits through 51 at bats for a .176 batting average. He's fanned 10 hitter in the process. The Giants turn to Madison Bumgarner (15-9, 2.74 ERA). He's 2-0 with a 3.27 ERA in two meetings with the Mets this season, but he allowed plenty of base runners with 12 his and six walks through 11 innings of work.

The San Francisco Giants struggled in the second half of the season but managed to wake up at the right time, producing seven or more runs in three of their last four games. That won't happen here against Syndergaard though, and my money is on what I consider to be the better team, even though it's an even year and all that.
