AAA's *SIGNATURE* TOTAL "ART OF THE GAME!"
(NCAAF) Idaho vs. San Diego State,
Total: 57.00 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 57.00 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is an 8* TOTAL ART OF THE GAME on the OVER between Idaho and SDSU.
These teams have played to a bunch of UNDERS this year, but I feel that the conditions are right for a higher-scoring shootout and look for this total to eclipse the number as the game comes down the stretch. Both teams come in hungry. The Idaho Vandals are just 1-7 in their first season in Sun Belt action, but didn't look completely horrible (at least offensively), in last week's 44-28 setback at the hands of Arkansas State. The Vandals actually led the game 28-24 before a 14-0 fourth quarter letdown defensively. Both teams looked pretty inept on the defensive side of the ball as each would rack up 440 yards off offense, the difference was that Idaho had a whopping eight turnovers, four lost fumbles and four picks. The dual QB's were horrible, but the tandem RB's of Elijah Penny and Jerrel Brown combined for 219 yards rushing and four TD's on 31 touches. SDSU is still pushing to become bowl eligible, it'll be hungry here after a poor 30-14 loss to Nevada. Neither team had any issue in putting up yards, they both gained 330. QB Quinn Kaehler was 21 of 36 for 189 yards and a TD while Donnel Pumphrey ran for 85 yards on 13 carries. Note that the Aztecs have seen the total go OVER the number in their last five games after allowing 200 yards rushing in their previous contest, while the Vandals have seen it sail above the number in five of their last six as an underdog. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends all point to the OVER as the sharp move here.
