This is an 8* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks.

For a number of different reasons I believe the value in this contest is on the UNDER. Carmelo Anthony is one of the NBA's premiere scorers, but new head coach Derek Fisher has come in and tried to instill a "defense" first mentality, and it's worked. The Knicks lost 104-80 to Chicago on opening night but have rebounded since with a 95-90 win over Cleveland, before then beating Charlotte 96-93 on Sunday. New York will be motivated here to slow down the fast paced Wizards who took all three in the series last year and who are coming off a couple of high-scoring affairs, a 105-98 win over Orlando and a 108-97 win over Milwaukee on Saturday. But as good as the offense has been for Washington, is about as good as the defense has been, it held Milwaukee to just 42.5 percent shooting and forced 28 turnovers. I think the Knicks slow this game right down, in my opinion all signs point to the UNDER as the sharp wager in this one.
