This is an 8* O/U WEST-COAST EXPRESS on the OVER between the Sacramento Kings and the Denver Nuggets.
Both clubs have played to a couple of UNDERS, but I think the conditions are right for a higher-scoring shootout in this one and expect the total to eclipse the number as the game comes down the stretch. Sacramento has looked better on the defensive end to start the year, but I think has a letdown after winning against Portland and the Clippers. One player to keep your eyes open for on the offensive end of the floor is Rudy Gay who is averaging 26.3 points on 52.1 percent shooting, while DeMarcus Cousins had 34 points and 17 boards in last nights 98-92 win over Los Angeles. Note that Sacramento's 109-95 win in Denver last year snapped a nine-game losing streak in Colorado. So far Denver hasn't lit up the score board, but there's room to read between the lines I feel, despite averaging just 90 points and shooting 39.4 percent, the Nuggets are still playing at an incredibly fast pace with 99.4 possessions per 48 minutes (fifth most in the league); suffice it to say, I think their points will finally increase here vs. what I feel will be a flat footed Kings defense. A great situational play, in my opinion all signs point to the OVER as the sharp move in this one.
