AAA's MLB BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT!
(MLB) Houston vs. NY Yankees,
Money Line: -193.00 NY Yankees (Home)
Result: Loss
Money Line: -193.00 NY Yankees (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 6* BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the New York Yankees.
I like the Yanks to bounce back after yesterday's setback and feel that they definitely have the superior starter backing them on the bump tonight. New York is now in desperation mode to stay in the playoff hunt and turns to Michael Pineda (2-2, 1.82 ERA) to get it back on track; Pineda would return to action last Wednesday and give up one run over five frames in a 5-3 setback at Baltimore (note that he was limited to just 67 pitches in that one). Pineda is 2-0 with a minuscule 0.75 ERA in two home starts this year and faced the Astros for the first time in his career. The visitors counter with the inconsistent Scott Feldman (6-9, 4.45 ERA) who is a brutal 0-4 with a 5.93 ERA in his last six road starts; note that Feldman is a poor 0-3 with a 4.70 ERA in his last three outings in the Bronx as well. Houston has never captured a series win in New York and I definitely don't expect that to happen today, the combination of the superior starter and the desperation factor makes this a price I can live with paying; play on the YANKEES.
