This is a 1* Free Play on the Detroit Tigers.

Detroit has been dominant in interleague action and I think is worth the price of admission in this matchup. Justin Verlander (8-8, 4.88 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Tigers, the right-hander gave up four runs in 6 1/3 innings to Kansas City his last start. Verlander though is 23-2 against the National League after earning a win against the Dodgers earlier this season. Note that Verlander has just one start versus the Diamondbacks lifetime and it was a dandy (eight IP, zero runs and 14 Ks). The Diamondbacks will throw out Vidal Nuno (2-6, 5.10 ERA) who will be making his third start since coming over from the Yankees; the left-hander is 1-4 with a 5.37 ERA in 11 appearances against Detroit. Note that Arizona is 4-9 in home games where it is the underdog in the +140 to +150 range this season. And note that Detroit slugger Miguel Cabrera has batted .393 with five homers and 15 RBIs in 16 career games in Arizona. Don't over think this one as the Tigers are well worth the price in my opinion.
