Here's a great "situational" play in our opinion. Both teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but all signs point to much more of a wide-open offensive affair here. Miami will be super pumped here to stop a four-game slide, most recently a 100-88 loss at home to Denver. That result though is important for us betting the "over" here for TWO reasons, the first in that Miami has seen the total eclipse the posted number in seven of their last ten off a SU/ATS home loss in which it was held to 89 or fewer points in, and secondly the Heat have in fact seen the total go "under" the number in three of their last four as well after playing to three or more straight "unders" in a row. This is the start of two straight here and we're expecting each side to push the pace in this first one. Detroit is arguably playing its best basketball of the season right now by winning three of its last four. This number is low, the play is indeed on the "over!"
