We like the Southern Utah Thunderbirds to defeat the Florida International Panthers on Saturday at 8:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Southern Utah won their first game 96-68. FIU lost their first game 77-70.

Many teams might have trouble with the pace of the Panthers. SUU play at a decently fast pace too which isn't good for the Panthers.

The Thunderbirds have won four of their L6 games played against Conference USA opponents.

Florida International have lost ten straight games played away from home.

FIU are also 1-6 against opponents in the WAC conference.

We'll lay the points with the home side.
