We like the Denver Nuggets to defeat the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday at 7:40pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Denver lost their first two games, then responded on Monday against the Raptors. This is a second game of a back-to-back, but the Nuggets should still be fresh having only played three games so far.

The Nets surprisingly beat the Bucks on Sunday, but Milwaukee still isn't at full strength (no Middleton.) Brooklyn relies on Cam Thomas to do the majority of their scoring and we think that Denver will be ready for that.

The Nuggets have won three straight meetings SU/ATS against the Nets. Since 2022, they are 5-1 SU/ATS against them.

Last season, Denver was 9-4 in the second game of a back-to-back (no rest.)

Brooklyn was not a playoff team last year and lost Mikal Bridges this offseason. They are still a few years away from competing.
