We like the Los Angeles Dodgers to defeat the New York Yankees on Saturday at 8:08pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Last night, the game went to extra innings when New York took the lead in the top of the 10th. Having blown leads in both the 8th inning as well as 10th inning, the Yankees could be down on their pitching for the rest of the series.

Both teams utilized most of their stronger pitchers in Game 1. That should favor the Dodgers who are already slim at pitching to begin with. They've been riding with their hot hands.

The top three batters from the Dodgers all delivered in the clutch in the first game of this series. They'll keep it going into Game 2.

We will give the edge to Yamamoto over Rodon. The Japanese "rookie" had a much better ERA during the year and has pitched in some big games back in Japan. In fact, he won the Nippon Professional Baseball Championship just two years ago.

The Dodgers will be excited and locked in on Saturday. They'll bring a 2-0 series lead into the Big Apple.
