AAA Sports' NLCS Total Of The Year ~ 11-3 Run
(MLB) Dodgers (LAD) vs. Mets (NYM),
Total: 7.50 | -120.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 7.50 | -120.00 Under
Result: Loss
We like the Los Angeles Dodgers @ New York Mets game to finish UNDER the total in Game 4 of the NLCS on Thursday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
The Mets got shut out in Game 3. Their bats aren't clicking right now and they will be up against the Dodgers' top pitcher at the moment in Yamamoto in this game.
Yamamoto looked nearly un-hittable in Game 5 of the NLDS. He pitched five innings of shutout baseball and led LAD to a 2-0 victory.
Jose Quintana will pitch for the Mets today. He hasn't allowed more than two runs in eight straight starts. In fact, he's only allowed three total runs in each of those eight starts combined!
The Dodgers bullpen has been top tier recently. Once it gets passed Yamamoto, you can expect them to shut the door.
Yesterday's game had some late, meaningless runs cross home plate which caused the game to go OVER. Those won't happen today in a much tighter game.
During the season, the Mets limited baserunners, allowing the second fewest hits per game. A big part of it was the success that Quintana had down the stretch.
We expect a pitchers duel on Thursday. This game very well could be decided by a run. Whoever wins, the UNDER is our play.
