Both teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but we're anticipating more of a defensive affair here finally between these non-conference clubs on Friday night. Ottawa is just 11-13 and off back-to-back losses, including a 4-2 setback at St. Louis just last night. The Sens have played to five straight "overs," but that's significant for us to take note of as Ottawa has in fact seen the total go "under" the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row. Dallas has had a few nights off after a 6-3 win over Detroit, but with a game at St. Louis tomorrow night, the home side could also be caught "looking ahead" here.
