The Islanders have a big opportunity to wipe away the stench of a six-game losing streak in the final outing before the All-Star break. New York plays with the added incentive of "revenge" here as well after falling 3-0 to the Wings in early November. Note that New York is 7-2 in its last nine in trying to avenge a shutout loss as a favorite against an opponent. The Wings are off a thrilling 4-3 OT win at Montreal just last night.
