These teams have been playing to some higher-scoring games of late, but I expect this divisional battle to finally be a much more defensive battle. Oklahoma City is 4-3. It comes in on fire, having won and covered in four straight. It's seen the total go "over" the number in three straight, which is significant to note here as OKC has in fact seen the total go "under" the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight "overs" in a row. With a couple nights off before a game at Milwaukee, the young Thunder will have to be careful to not get caught looking ahead. But with Denver coming to town, that's unlikely. The Nuggets will be out to rebound after their 121-110 road loss to the Lakers. Expect an intense battle here early on in the season between these division rivals, but a contest that ultimately does fall well "under" the posted number!
