I lost with Seattle on the runline option here yesterday, but where that pick came up short, today's has all the makings of a great bounce back opportunity for the hungry visiting side. These starters are evenly matched. Logan Gilbert is 10-4 with a 2.78 ERA and 1.15 WHIP for the Mariners, while Jameson Taillon is 10-2 with a 3.72 ERA and 1.16 WHIP for the Yanks. For all intents and purposes, these guys are a "wash." Seattle is 4-7 since ending the first half on a 14-game winning streak. I look for Gilbert to rekindle some of the previous fire here and at the very least I'll look for this contest to be decided late, or even in extra innings; the play is Seattle on the runline option!
