I had a play on the Jays on the "runline" yesterday and I think they'll lay the hammer down again today. Toronto won 10-3 here yesterday and I expect it to take advantage of this opportunity here on Wednesday as well. Once again, the starting pitchers are evenly matched. The Cards' Adam Wainwright is 6-8 with a 3.40 ERA, while the Jays' Kevin Gausman is 7-7 with a 3.00 ERA. But for the same reason I thought that the Jays would destroy the Cardinals yesterday, is the same reason why I expect them to do the same thing this evening, and that's because the Cardinals were forced to leave behind their two best players in Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado because of Canada's strict COVID 19 laws, with both sluggers being unvaccinated. Look for Gausman to step up and take advantage; the play is Toronto on the runline option!
