8* GIANTS RUNLINE (SPECIAL)

I had a big play on San Francisco on the runline last night, and while that play did come up short in the end unfortunately, I love how Friday's contest sets up for Logan Webb and the hungry Giants on Friday. San Fran is now 13.5 games back of the Dodgers for the division lead. LA has won five in a row and 11 of its last 12 (note that San francisco is 7-3 in its last 10 in trying to revenge a loss against an opponent in which it conceded 9 or more runs in.) I'm calling these starters a wash. Webb is 9-3 with a 2.83 ERA, while Tyler Anderson is 10-1 with a 2.96 ERA for the Dodgers. I think Webb matches Anderson inning for inning and in a scenario like that, I always feel that the value swings to the undervalued underdog. In a contest that I see being decided late, or even in extras, I'm laying the price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance; the play is San Francisco on the runline option!
