Winnipeg has lost five straight times, all to Toronto and Edmonton, who are the top two teams in the North. All five losses were at home and four of them saw the Jets score 1 or 0 goals. They are still in third place in the division mind you, only three back of second place Edmonton, but a win would obviously be nice. Tonight the Jets will head out on the road to face Montreal, the fourth place team in the division, who is just trying to make it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Canadiens have a four-point lead over Calgary. Winnipeg has won six of the previous eight meetings with Montreal this season, including 5-0 the last time they paid a visit here.
