After three straight losses to open this series, we like the Cardinals to finally respond here on Sunday. The Cubs have been great, but after eight straight wins we're expecting the visiting side to get caugth looking ahead to its four game home series vs. the Reds next. Kyle Hendricks (4-4, 3.45 ERA) and Steven Matz (1-7, 4.34) are essentially a "wash" as far as the starting pitching is concerned, but note that St. Louis is 4-1 in its last five in trying to avenge three or more straight home losses against an opponent; consider the Cardinals in this one!
