BIG TIME DOG ALERT: AAA's BIGGEST MLB DOG OF MAY THUS FAR!

Result: Win
This is an 8* TOP DOG on the Minnesota Twins.

We think that Jake Odorizzi and the hard-hitting visiting side have much more than just a "punchers chance" in this one, which does indeed swing the value to the dog in our opinion. Odorizzi (2-2, 4.10 ERA), comes in off his worst effort of the year by allowing five runs (three earned) off six hits over 5.1 innings. The one bright spot was that he posted a season best eight K's, while walking just two. Odorizzi blanked the Red Sox in his previous out though and overall he's looked good for his new team. To go along with his 4.10 ERA, he also owns a decent 1.39 WHIP over 37 innings of work. The home side counters with Carlos Martinez (3-1, 1.40) who gave up one run off five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings in a victory over the White Sox. It's hard to say anything negative about Martinez, so we won't bother. We simply feel that Odorizzi can match pace inning for inning and in a scenario like that, we're going with the hungry dog. Great value, play on MINNESOTA.
