This is a 10* SECOND ROUND TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the OVER Sharks/Knights.
Both teams come in off surprising first round, defensive oriented sweeps. The Sharks dispatched the Ducks and the Golden Knights continued their improbable run by dismantling the Kings in four straight as well. These teams were both known more for their offensive prowess during the regular season, but so far each has played very tough defense, combined with stellar goaltending to open the playoffs. But with so much time off between the first and second round, we're expecting a very wide open affair tonight. So far both Sharks' goaltender Martin Jones and Knights net minder Marc-Andre Fleury have been superb, but note that San Jose has seen the total go OVER the number in nine of 13 already this year after a three game unbeaten streak, while Vegas has seen the total go OVER the number in five of its last seven after scoring one goals or less in its previous outing. The stage is set for a high-scoring Game 1. Play the OVER.
