This is a BIG-EAST TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the UNDER between Marquette and St. John's.

REASONING: These teams have been playing to some higher-scoring affairs of late, but we think that all signs now finally point to the UNDER as the savvy move tonight. Both team's come off high-scoring losses. Marquette fell 79-78 at home to Providence, while St. John's lost 82-77 to Xavier on Sunday. The Golden Eagles only shot 43 percent from the floor in the loss to Providence and struggled defensively, allowing the Friars to hit 49 percent. So far the Golden Eagles average 83.8 PPG and allow 74.2. St. John's averages 76.7 PPG and allows 75.3. Note that Marquette has seen the total go UNDER the number in all five games that it's played this year against teams with losing records, while St. John's has seen the total go UNDER in four of six this year off a loss against a conference rival. We think St. John's struggles to put points on the board tonight and look for this one does to sneak UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
