AAA's Tuesday Night MAC ATTACK TOP TOTAL (HUGE 12-6 NCAAF RUN!)
(NCAAF) Northern Illinois vs. Toledo,
Total: 60.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 60.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is an 8* MAC ATTACK TOP TOTAL on the UNDER between Northern Illinois and Toledo.
With four challenging games upcoming on its schedule, 7-0 Toledo obviously can't afford to "look past" Northern Illinois tonight. The Huskies have won five consecutive division titles and have won at least 11 games in each of the last five seasons. The Rockets are 4-0 in league play thus far and have won each contest by at least 14 points. Northern Illinois bounced back from a loss at Central Michigan at the start of October to win three straight in conference. There is a lot on the line for both teams, there's no question that this is an important game. These teams are very similar, especially on the offensive side of the ball as they represent the MAC's No. 1 and No. 2 teams in rushing offense this year: NIU leads the way with an average of 217.5 YPG, while Toledo is a close second at 213.1. Both will be looking to establish the run early and often. However, take note that each team is also almost as equally adept at stopping the run, the Rockets give up 3.6 YPC, while Northern Illinois has not allowed more than 157 rushing yards to an opponent in its last three contests, limiting high-powered Ohio State to just 4.4 YPC in the 20-13 loss on September 19th. Note that NIU has seen the total dip below the posted number in four of its last six following a bye-week, while Toledo has seen the total fall UNDER the number in eight of its last 14 after two or more consecutive SU victories. Play on the UNDER.
