The Spurs will be eager to bounce back here after a hard-fought 112-106 setback at Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Kawhi Leonard had 32 points, eight boards, three steals and two blocks. San Antonio was unable to get the job done though after Tony Parker, Danny Green and LaMarcus Aldridge combined for 33 points on 14 of 40 shooting. Brooklyn has lost by an average of 14.5 points during its 12-game road losing streak in the series, most recently the Spurs would win a 99-87 defensive battle in San Antonio last November. Brooklyn will also be playing with a sense of urgency as it looks to avoid its first 0-2 start since 2009 after falling 115-100 to the Bulls on Wednesday. Coach Lionel Hollins' team finished 22nd in defensive field-goal percentage last year and looked horrible vs. a Chicago team which had played the night before, so suffice it to say we're expecting a much more concerted effort on that end of the floor this evening. Note that Brooklyn has seen the total go UNDER the number in 48 of its last 80 road contests, while San Antonio has seen the total dip below the posted number in 50 of its last 92 after scoring 105 points or more.
