This is an 8* TOTAL EXPRESS on the OVER between the Washington Wizards and the Orlando Magic.
Orlando was a mess on both ends of the court last year and is hoping that Scott Skiles can reverse the clubs fortunes in 2015/16. The Magic allowed their opponents a 46.3 field-goal percentage defensively and ranked 25th in the league in scoring at 95.7 PPG. One player with something to prove this year and who you should keep your eyes on for the home side is Channing Frye, who signed a $32 million contract and then averaged career worsts in every category: "You're going to see a better version of me," Frye said. "Last year, for lack of a better term, was a little embarrassing -- just on all fronts. I have a lot to prove and I'm out here to put the work in to do it." Washington will be looking to make it a third straight trip to the postseason and will be leaning heavily on guards John Wall and Bradley Beal, both of who were injured throughout the season in 2014, but both of who are now at 100% health. The Wizards have won eight straight in this series and have seen the total sail above the posted number in ten of their last 13 as a road favorite in the 3.5 to 6 points range. Too many new faces on Orlando for it to run smoothly right out of the gate, while Skiles will have a defense oriented scheme, we think Washington will still take advantage, all signs do indeed point to this one going OVER as it comes down the stretch.
