AAA's VERY EARLY 10* ACC "ART OF WAR!" (100% PERFECT L/Saturday!)
(NCAAF) Pittsburgh vs. Syracuse,
Total: 49.00 | 101.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 49.00 | 101.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* ART OF WAR on the UNDER between Pittsburgh and Syracuse.
We look for this total to fall below the posted number once the final whistle sounds. The 3-3 Orange get ready to battle the 5-1 Panthers at the Carrier Dome. Pittsburgh has so far been getting the job done with a tough defensive unit which ranks 17th in the nation. While the Panthers possess one of the best receivers in Tyler Boyd, we feel that QB Nate Peterman will have his hands full with a focused Syracuse team which is coming off a crushing triple-OT loss at the hands of the Cavaliers last week. And while the Orange's defense is satisfactory, the struggles are still clearly on the offensive side of the ball, QB Eric Dungey has been extremely efficient with a 9 to 1 TD to INT ratio, but the unit relies heavily on passing offense underneath, with basically no threat whatsoever to throw the ball deep, which invariably leads to teams stacking the box and turning a one dimensional offense even more so. Note that Pittsburgh has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last 13 on the road and in five of its last eight as a favorite in the 3.5 to 10 points range, while Syracuse has seen the total stay below the posted number in eight of its last ten off a loss vs. a conference rival and in 12 of its last 18 vs. conference opponents. In our professional opinion, the writing is on the wall and a classic low-scoring "chess match" is in the cards, play on the UNDER.
