AAA's Thursday Night PAC-12 TOTAL DESTRUCTION (100% L/Thursday!)

Total: 68.00 | -104.00 Under

This is an 8* TOTAL DESTRUCTION on the OVER between California and USC.
We jumped on this line early and got 64 and it's since gone up, but regardless, we love this selection as we expect these two conference opponents to open up the playbook and for this total to soar above the posted number once the final whistle sounds. Cal won its first five games of the year before falling 30-24 in a tough outing at undefeated Utah two week ago. The Golden Bears now come into this one well rested, a great situational factor that we can take advantage of. Cal actually trailed Utah 24-10 late in the first half and pulled to within a FG late in the third quarter before then falling down the stretch (note that the Bears outgained Utah 467-435 on the night). UCLA opened the year 4-0 with victories over BYU and Arizona, but clearly comes in motivated after back-to-back losses, including to Arizona State and Stanford. The Bruins have been hit by the injury bug, especially on the defensive side of the ball with three starters down for the remainder of the season, one more great situational factor that we'll take advantage of. Offensively though UCLA is fine, the unit is averaging 463 yards per game and 35 points, QB Josh Rosen has 12 TD passes thus far. The last time these team's met, UCLA needed a late FG to beat Cal 36-34 last season and we expect a similarly hard fought and high-scoring shootout tonight, all signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
