AAA's Friday Night "TOTAL ART OF THE GAME!" (+$17K NCAAF RUN!)
(NCAAF) Houston vs. Tulane,
Total: 59.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 59.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is an 8* TOTAL ART OF THE GAME on the UNDER between Houston and Tulane.
We wait every week for the "Football" lines to come out and often make our selections within minutes of their release. Sometimes this works favorably for us and other times, like last night where we had North Texas at +28, lucky to get the cover with the final line closing at +34.5 in some places, it works against us. Tonight however, we have a favorable line (63.5), and despite it since coming down to around 58.5, we still love this selection as we expect these teams to play more of a "chess match" style of game, which we feel will ultimately result in a lower-scoring affair. Houston is on the hunt for a large Bowl placement this year and will look to take advantage of a Tulane offense which has been a disaster all season; aside from games at Maine (FCS team) and UCF (one of the worst in the nation), Tulane's offense has posted just three major scores and two field goals. We simply can't see the home side mustering much of an offensive push whatsoever. Houston of course is led by QB Greg Ward Jr., who has been extremely efficient so far this year with a 72.5 completion percentage to go along with eight TD's and just one INT. Ward also has 554 rushing yards, which is fourth in the AAC. This is a classic case of "David vs. Goliath," Tulane will be just another speed-bump for the Cougars in their quest to remain unbeaten. Note though that Houston has seen the total go UNDER the number in its last four games as a road favorite and in 11 of its last 18 vs. conference opponents, while Tulane has seen the total dip below the posted number in eight of its last 14 at home, in 14 of its last 25 as the underdog overall and in 11 of its last 18 vs. conference opponents. Look for the visitors to control the tempo from the outset and this total to indeed go UNDER the posted number once the final whistle sounds.
