AAA's 10* American League "ASSASSIN!" (+$15K 2nd Half MLB Run!)
(MLB) Seattle vs. Houston,
Money Line: -163.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Loss
Money Line: -163.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* ASSASSIN on the Houston Astros.
After a rare home loss to the Mariners yesterday, we like the home side to find a way to get the job done at the end of the night. Houston hands the ball to Scott Kazmir (7-9, 2.45 ERA) who gave up three runs over seven innings in Friday's 3-0 loss at Minnesota, he is just 2-4 in seven starts since being acquired by Oakland in July. Kazmir though has to be feeling pretty confident about a bounce back today though as he's owned the Mariners throughout his career, most recently he'd give up two hits with seven K's over eight innings in a 4-0 win vs. them on July 2nd and note that he is 2-1 with a tiny 1.29 ERA in his last four starts against them overall. The visitors counter with Taijuan Walker (10-7, 4.53 ERA) who was forced out of his last start with a right hip flexor in Friday's 2-0 road win over the White Sox; Walker has been dominant on the road this season, but note that he was shelled for eight runs off three homers over three innings in an 11-4 loss at Houston on May 2nd, Jose Altuve is 6 for 16 with a homer and two doubles off him. Houston owns the AL's best home record and after the setback yesterday, all signs point to a comfortable bounce back this evening; play on the ASTROS.
