The home side counters with Robbie Ray (3-4, 2.29 ERA) who is also coming off an unfortunate no-decision vs. the Giants on Friday, giving up two runs off five hits over five innings of work, finishing with eight K's; note that Ray has been as solid as you could possibly ask for this season and has not given up more than three earned runs in any of his nine starts this year. For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and in this case, with both hurlers coming into this one on top form, there's no question that the UNDER is definitely worthy of a second look in this match-up.
