The visitors hand the ball to Matt Garza (4-10, 5.52 ERA) who gave up four runs off five hits over six innings, to go along with three walks in a setback to Minnesota on Saturday, ranking him atop the major leagues for most defeats. Garza continues to get worse as the season progresses, he's surrendered a whopping 17 runs off a stunning 31 hits over his last 18 innings pitched; and note, a date on the road is not what the doctor ordered for Garza to get back on track as he's just 3-4 with a ballooned 6.69 ERA away from friendly confines this year. The home side counters with Chad Billingsley (0-2, 6.75 ERA) who has been out since May with a shoulder strain and who made just three starts before going down; Billingsley has looked shaky in his rehab starts, most recently giving up seven runs off seven hits over 2 2/3's innings on Sunday. With a couple of confirmed "gas cans" facing off in this one, the OVER is absolutely worthy of a second look.
