The home side counter with Jon Moscot, who made his major league debut on Friday by giving up four runs while striking out three in five innings of a 6-2 loss to San Diego. Philadelphia has struggled on the road and will be desperate to avoid the sweep here and has to be liking its chances in facing the rookie today.
