Two of MLB's best meet in this one but for a number of different reasons I think Clayton Kershaw and the LA Dodgers offer fantastic value here. LA is looking to avoid being shut-out in a three-game series vs. its archival for a second time in four seasons. San Francisco has also already won all five games at AT&T Park in the season series thus far. To say this is a "revenge game" would be a bit of an understatement I think. And its also a revenge game for Kershaw who is 1-3 in his last five match-ups against Madison Bumgarner. Bumgarner has been as solid as you could possibly ask for to open the season, but note that Kershaw is 8-2 with a tiny 0.98 ERA in 12 starts at San Francisco. I think the motivation factor is clearly working in favor of Kershaw and the DODGERS and it will ultimately prove to be the difference in the outcome at the end of the night.
