These two teams continue to battle, Atlanta managed a win in Game 5 in the closing moments, unable to cover the large 7 point spread in the 82-81 victory. I think a similar final outcome is in the cards today as well as Washington lays everything on the line to stave off elimination and push the No. 1 seed to the brink. John Wall and Paul Pierce almost pulled off another miracle but came up short, clearly the team will be looking for a carbon copy performance this evening; note that the Wizards have in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in interestingly five of eight this year after scoring 85 points or less. And note that Atlanta has already seen the total go UNDER the number in three of four this year when leading in a playoff series and in six of seven in the same position over the last two (also interestingly in three of five this year after scoring 85 points or less). Both of these teams are tired and banged up and with each putting an added emphasis on the defensive end of the floor, the UNDER is indeed worthy of a second look.
