Some times a favorite is a favorite for a reason and in this case, I think that Brett Anderson and the home side should be much bigger ones, making this a price that I have no issues at all in laying. Colorado has lost 11 straight and has to deal with manager Walt Weiss recovering from surgery, I simply can't see the team rallying here, a perfect "situation" that we can take advantage of. Also note that the Rockies have averaged just 2.6 runs during a nine-game losing streak in LA, which is music to Anderson's ears, who is 2-1 with a 3.52 ERA. Most recently Anderson gave up one run and six hits in a 2-1 win over these very same Rockies last weekend (note that Anderson is 1-0 with a 2.87 ERA in three home starts). The Rockies counter with call up Chad Bettis from Triple-A Albuquerque for his season debut and first start since 2013. Note that Bettis made 21 relief appearances for Colorado last year, going 0-2 with a deplorable 9.12 ERA. Lay the price with confidence, play on the DODGERS.
