AAA's 10* *Rockets/Clippers* Game 6 TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(NBA) Houston vs. LA Clippers,
Total: 220.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 220.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between the Houston Rockets and the LA Clippers.
Anyone that's been following me knows that I've played the UNDER the last three times in a row and obviously I've been on the wrong end of each one. I think that finally changes tonight though, the pressure is suddenly on the Clippers to close this series and I think they stumble under the weight of expectations. Houston finally got untracked defensively in holding the Clippers to just 103 points in Game 5, however LA looked horrible on that end of the floor after dominating the Rockets in two straight previous games: "They outplayed us and played like they wanted it," Clippers' forward Blake Griffin said afterwards. "... We need to learn from this game and improve upon it. We have a chance to take care of business and play how we need to play." Houston looked a lot better in every facet, it committed an average of 18.5 turnovers through the first four games, but had a playoff-low 11 in Game 5. Houston would hold LA to a series-low 41.8 percent shooting and I think that defensive momentum gets carried over here. Also note that LA is now suddenly dealing with a rash of injuries as Matt Barnes and Austin Rivers join Chris Paul with significant bumps and bruises. The Clippers though have to be feeling pretty confident in returning to form though, Houston is 1-3 on the road in the postseason this year and is just 1-9 in its last ten road games vs. LA. And note that the Rockets have seen the total go UNDER the number in interestingly 30 of 54 this year vs. poor defensive teams which allow 99-plus points per contest, while the Clippers have seen the total dip below the posted number in 11 of 18 this season off an upset loss as a favorite. Play on the UNDER.
