AAA's EARLY SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH!
(MLB) Boston vs. Oakland,
Money Line: -140.00 Oakland (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH on the Oakland Athletics.

The A's finally got of the schneid in yesterday's 9-2 rout, ending a six-game slide: "Now the trick is to get a couple in a row and now you start feeling good about yourself, and the confidence comes out and the talent level that we have," manager Bob Melvin assessed afterwards. "But we have to put it together. We haven't been very good about that this year." The home side turns to Sonny Gray who is 4-0 with a tiny 1.65 ERA and who most recently gave up one run over six innings in a 4-3 loss at Seattle on Friday. Gray has posted 19 K's over his last two games and in his lone start against Boston, his team would eventually prevail 3-2 in 10-innings last May. The visitors counter with Wade Miley who is 1-4 with a 6.91 ERA so far this season and who has posted a deplorable 7.63 ERA while losing three straight, most recently yielding four runs over six frames in his team's 7-0 loss at Toronto. Pretty good value here I think overall, the A's are super hungry after the lacklustre stretch but finally come in with a bit of momentum and when throwing in the clear talent discrepancy on the mound, in my professional opinion this is indeed the very definition of "great line value," play on OAKLAND.
