This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the OVER between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies.
I think it's a bit of a shock that not one of the totals in this series has gone OVER the number, but for a number of different reasons I now finally expect that trend to get "bucked" today as all signs do indeed point to the higher-number as the savvy move in this contest. It's do-or-die for Golden State essentially, the league's No. 1 regular season team has its back against the wall, another loss and a 3-1 hole would likely be just too much for it to climb out of. So as such, I am expecting to see Golden State come out fired up and aggressive from start to finish, there's no question that the visitors will be pushing the pace from the outset and a faster game = more shots and more shots = more points: "It's not a must win, but it's pretty freaking close," Golden State guard Klay Thompson confirmed following Saturday's 99-89 loss. What more can be said about the Grizzlies, they've been fantastic over the last two games, but I think the stage is set for a minor mental letdown today, note that Memphis has in fact seen the total go OVER the number in eight of 13 after playing to three or more consecutive UNDERs. And note that Golden State has seen the total sail above the posted number in six of ten off an upset loss as a favorite. In my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this one.
