This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

For a number of different reasons, I expect this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn sounds. It's do-or-die for the Canadiens obviously, a 3-0 hole will clearly be too much for this struggling team to overcome and as such, we can expect the visitors to be risking life and limb getting into shooting and passing lanes as they try to break a six-game slide to Tampa Bay and inch their way back into contention in this series. Montreal's biggest issue continues to be offensive consistency though, it's just 1 for 26 with the man advantage in the postseason. The Lightning have looked pretty unstoppable up to this point after a tough seven game opening round series win over Detroit, but note that Tampa has actually seen the total go UNDER the number in nine of 16 this year when playing with two days of rest. And note that Montreal has seen the total stay below the posted number in 13 of 19 this year after a loss by two goals or more in its previous contest. I think the writing is on the wall and a classic low-scoring goaltenders battle is finally in the cards, play on the UNDER.
