AAA's EARLY 10* ULTIMATE SLUG-FEST!

Total: 7.00 | 104.00 Under

This is a 10* SLUG-FEST on the OVER between the Kansas City Royals and the Cleveland Indians.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. It's going to be all hands on deck for the Cleveland Indians today as they look to avoid their second four-game skid of the year, they'd lose yesterday's series opener with the Royals 6-2 after committing three errors. The Indians now look to get untracked at home where they play 12 of their next 15 after 12 of their first 17 came away from friendly confines. Starting pitching has been the main culprit thus far, Cleveland starters have posted a deplorable 7.88 ERA at home so far this year. Bauer is 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA to open the season and was scheduled to start Saturday against the Tigers but had to be scratched due to food poisoning; note though that Bauer has always had his hands full with the Royals, he was 0-1 with a pedestrian 4.11 ERA in three starts against them last season. The visitors counter with Jeremy Guthrie who is 1-1 with a 5.50 ERA; like Bauer, Guthrie has had plenty of trouble against his opponent today, he's just 5-5 with a ballooned 6.06 ERA in 13 appearances, including 11 starts against the Indians. A great situational play, a ton of favorable conditions collide, all signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
